Interested candidates seeking admission to the MBA Programme at UBS, Ludhiana, can download the application form from the official website and submit the duly filled form along with all required documents to the Office of the Director, Panjab University Regional Centre, Ludhiana, on or before 29 June 2026.
Admission to the MBA programme will be based on CAT 2025 or MAT 2025-26 scores. Candidates who have not appeared in either CAT 2025 or MAT 2025-26 must qualify the Special Entrance Test conducted by the department on 30 June 2026.
All eligible candidates will also be required to participate in the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds, which will be conducted on 30 June 2026 at the University Business School, Panjab University Regional Centre, Ludhiana, Punjab.
The final Admission Counselling process is scheduled to be held on 10 July 2026.

Panjab University MBA Admission 2026-27 (Round 3): Overview Round 3 is a final, offline "mop-up" admission round specifically opened to fill the remaining vacant MBA seats at the University Business School (UBS), Panjab University Regional Centre in Ludhiana. Think of it as a last-chance window. The normal, highly competitive first and second rounds of admissions happened earlier in the year. Round 3 is organized directly by the Ludhiana campus to ensure no seats go wasted. It has highly unique rules compared to standard rounds:

Note:- The Special Entrance Test for the candidates who have not appeared in CAT-2025 or MAT (2025-26), will be held on 30th June 2026 at 9:30 am in the department. The duration of the test will be 01 hour only comprising 60 objective-type questions. The test will have three sections viz Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension; Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning; and Quantitative Ability. There will be no negative marking for the wrong answers.
Candidates are required to pay the registration fee through a Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favor of "The Registrar, Panjab University, Chandigarh", payable at Chandigarh.

Q1: Can I apply for Round 3 if I completely missed taking the CAT or MAT exam?
Yes. This is the biggest advantage of Round 3. If you don't have a CAT 2025 or MAT score, you can sit for Panjab University’s Special Entrance Test on June 30, 2026 (9:30 AM) at the Ludhiana campus. If you pass this 1-hour exam, you are fully eligible for selection.
Q2: What is the exam pattern for the Special Entrance Test?
The exam lasts exactly 1 hour and consists of 60 objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs). It is divided into three sections:

Good to know: There is no negative marking for incorrect answers in this test.
Q3: Can I submit the application form online?
No. The Round 3 application process is entirely offline. You must download the form from ubsl.puchd.ac.in, print it out on both sides of the paper (it's a 4-page form), fill it in your own handwriting, and physically submit it or speed-post it to the Director's Office in Ludhiana along with a physical Demand Draft.
Q4: Can final-year graduation students apply for this round?
Yes. Candidates who have appeared for their final year exams and are currently awaiting their results are fully eligible to apply for this session.
